Pack dues for the school year are $20. This money is used for pack expenses (awards, badges, props, certificates, den start-up supplies, insurance, etc.) The
registration fee is paid to the Boy Scouts of America. Boys Life is
optional, but is a great magazine written for Cub Scout age boys and is
a bargain price.
In addition, we participate in the Boy Scout popcorn sale and offer incentives (prizes, gift certificates and scholarships) to encourage active participation. Den dues of $1.00-$2.00 per meeting may also be collected at den meetings for snacks and craft supplies.
Please fill out the parent talent survey and review the list of Volunteer Opportunities. Please consider taking on one of the jobs to help provide a quality program for your son.
If paying the entire registration and dues at this time is a problem, talk with John Kennington to make arrangements - a portion of the registration and dues can be postponed, and scholarships are available. We want every boy who is interested to be able to
participate in scouting. |
